# Zest. vs HowTo

The clearest difference is ads: HowTo at none against Zest.'s shown. HowTo also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Zest.'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zest. ships an update every 3 weeks, HowTo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
