# Eskuad vs Read AI

The clearest difference is rating: Read AI at 4.9 against Eskuad's 4.3. Read AI also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 6). Eskuad's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Read AI holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Read AI has 1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Eskuad ships an update every 2 weeks, Read AI every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
