# Lomi vs Tin Can Knits

The clearest difference is rating: Lomi at 4.8 against Tin Can Knits's 4.1. Lomi also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (1K vs 137). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tin Can Knits sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $16.00 per year. Lomi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lomi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lomi has 1K ratings behind it against 137, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Lomi's written reviews are positive against 70% of Tin Can Knits's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
