# CloudPlus vs HG Cam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CloudPlus at 82% against HG Cam's 20%. CloudPlus also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.2) and ads (none vs shown). HG Cam's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudPlus sells 32 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and HG Cam sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CloudPlus holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudPlus has 1.4K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of CloudPlus's written reviews are positive against 20% of HG Cam's.

CloudPlus ships an update every 2 months, HG Cam fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
