# Werfie vs theliveapp

The clearest difference is ratings volume: theliveapp at 201 against Werfie's 2. Werfie's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Werfie against 5.0 for theliveapp. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: theliveapp has 201 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Werfie ships an update every 5 days, theliveapp every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
