# Hmsp_Cam vs BackCam

The clearest difference is rating: BackCam at 3.5 against Hmsp_Cam's 2.5. Hmsp_Cam's advantage is review sentiment (19% vs 0%) and ratings volume (26 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BackCam holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hmsp_Cam has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Hmsp_Cam's written reviews are positive against 0% of BackCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hmsp_Cam ships an update every 5 weeks, BackCam every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
