# Clever vs TMIS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TMIS at none against Clever's 13. TMIS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). Clever's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (45K vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clever sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. TMIS asks for nothing beyond the download.

TMIS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clever has 45K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Clever ships an update every 4 days, TMIS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
