# SuperMCard vs HanziPro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HanziPro at 100% against SuperMCard's 47%. HanziPro also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). SuperMCard's advantage is ratings volume (756 vs 57) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperMCard sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and HanziPro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HanziPro holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperMCard has 756 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of SuperMCard's written reviews are positive against 100% of HanziPro's.

SuperMCard ships an update every 3 weeks, HanziPro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
