# First Table vs DineND

The clearest difference is ads: DineND at none against First Table's shown. DineND also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). First Table's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for First Table against 5.0 for DineND. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: First Table has 100 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of First Table's written reviews are positive against 100% of DineND's.

First Table ships an update fortnightly, DineND every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
