# Netcam vs ix cam

The clearest difference is rating: Netcam at 5.0 against ix cam's 4.3. Netcam also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). ix cam's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Netcam sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and ix cam sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.79 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Netcam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ix cam has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

Netcam ships an update every 3 weeks, ix cam every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
