# Nowa vs Rayied

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rayied at none against Nowa's 3. Rayied also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). Nowa's advantage is ratings volume (320 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nowa sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Rayied asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.0 for Nowa against 3.0 for Rayied. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nowa has 320 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nowa ships an update every 6 months, Rayied every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 8, 2026.
