# Nowa vs Red Flag

The clearest difference is rating: Red Flag at 4.0 against Nowa's 3.0. Red Flag also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). Nowa's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nowa sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Red Flag sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Red Flag holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 320 and 106 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Nowa's written reviews are positive against 0% of Red Flag's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nowa ships an update every 6 months, Red Flag every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
