# SAMANSA vs Witha

The clearest difference is update cadence: SAMANSA at every 5 days against Witha's every 5 weeks. SAMANSA also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAMANSA sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.29 per month and Witha sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAMANSA ships an update every 5 days, Witha every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
