# Find Location vs QR Code Pro Reader

The clearest difference is update cadence: Find Location at every 2 months against QR Code Pro Reader's every 7 months. Find Location also leads on ratings volume (350 vs 30). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find Location sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and QR Code Pro Reader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Find Location against 4.6 for QR Code Pro Reader. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Location has 350 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Find Location ships an update every 2 months, QR Code Pro Reader every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
