# Locket Widget vs Valid

The clearest difference is ads: Valid at none against Locket Widget's shown. Locket Widget's advantage is ratings volume (580K vs 10K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locket Widget sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Valid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Locket Widget against 4.8 for Valid. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Locket Widget has 580K ratings behind it against 10K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Locket Widget's written reviews are positive against 78% of Valid's.

Locket Widget ships an update every 4 days, Valid every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
