# Farcaster vs FindR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FindR at none against Farcaster's 16. FindR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (60% vs 51%). Farcaster's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Farcaster sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. FindR asks for nothing beyond the download.

FindR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6.
