# Farcaster vs mindspace

The clearest difference is review sentiment: mindspace at 100% against Farcaster's 50%. mindspace also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Farcaster's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Farcaster sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and mindspace sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mindspace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Farcaster has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Farcaster's written reviews are positive against 100% of mindspace's.
