# Farcaster vs FaceLive

The clearest difference is rating: Farcaster at 4.6 against FaceLive's 1.0. Farcaster also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). FaceLive's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Farcaster sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. FaceLive asks for nothing beyond the download.

Farcaster holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Farcaster has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
