# Essence vs ProMindset

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProMindset at every 6 weeks against Essence's every 7 months. Essence's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Essence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $48.99 per month and ProMindset sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Essence ships an update every 7 months, ProMindset every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
