# Password PRO vs Timer App Blocker

Password PRO and Timer App Blocker both sit at 3.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Password PRO's written reviews are positive against 20% of Timer App Blocker's. Timer App Blocker's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password PRO sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Timer App Blocker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer App Blocker holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Password PRO's written reviews are positive against 20% of Timer App Blocker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Password PRO ships an update every 3 weeks, Timer App Blocker every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
