# Password PRO vs Time Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Time Tracker at 4.5 against Password PRO's 3.7. Time Tracker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Password PRO's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (100% vs 64%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password PRO sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Time Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Tracker has 113 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Password PRO's written reviews are positive against 64% of Time Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Password PRO ships an update every 3 weeks, Time Tracker weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
