# Discreet vs SCamera Pro

The clearest difference is price: Discreet at Free against SCamera Pro's $7.99. Discreet also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 19). SCamera Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On rating, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Discreet is free to download; SCamera Pro costs $7.99 up front. Discreet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SCamera Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Discreet against 4.5 for SCamera Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discreet has 2.1K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Discreet's written reviews are positive against 61% of SCamera Pro's.
