# You.com vs iTechGuy

You.com and iTechGuy both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of iTechGuy's written reviews are positive against 58% of You.com's. iTechGuy also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). You.com's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 10). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. You.com sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and iTechGuy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

You.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: You.com has 4.9K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of You.com's written reviews are positive against 89% of iTechGuy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

You.com ships an update every 2 weeks, iTechGuy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
