# embtr. vs Uzual

The clearest difference is rating: embtr. at 5.0 against Uzual's 1.0. embtr. also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. embtr. sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Uzual sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

embtr. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: embtr. has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

embtr. ships an update every 3 days, Uzual every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
