# Chechen M(A)L vs Kalam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chechen M(A)L at 100% against Kalam's 33%. Chechen M(A)L also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). Kalam's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kalam sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Chechen M(A)L asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kalam holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kalam has 6.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Chechen M(A)L's written reviews are positive against 33% of Kalam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
