# Chechen M(A)L vs Tidam

The clearest difference is rating: Tidam at 5.0 against Chechen M(A)L's 4.0. Tidam also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 1). Chechen M(A)L's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tidam sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Chechen M(A)L asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tidam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tidam has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Chechen M(A)L's written reviews are positive against 94% of Tidam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
