# Dexter Stardust vs Ghost In The Mirror

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dexter Stardust at every 3 days against Ghost In The Mirror's every 6 months. Dexter Stardust also leads on ratings volume (138 vs 16). Ghost In The Mirror's advantage is review sentiment (96% vs 83%) and price ($3.99 vs $4.99). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Dexter Stardust costs $4.99 and Ghost In The Mirror $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dexter Stardust holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dexter Stardust has 138 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Dexter Stardust's written reviews are positive against 96% of Ghost In The Mirror's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dexter Stardust ships an update every 3 days, Ghost In The Mirror every 6 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
