# Scratch vs Bantee

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scratch at none against Bantee's 1. Scratch also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Bantee's advantage is ratings volume (72 vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bantee sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Scratch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scratch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bantee has 72 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Scratch ships an update every 6 days, Bantee every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
