# 随记日记 vs Onlynote

The clearest difference is update cadence: 随记日记 at every 5 days against Onlynote's fortnightly. 随记日记 also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Onlynote's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 随记日记 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Onlynote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

随记日记 ships an update every 5 days, Onlynote fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
