# Knit Pro vs Knitty

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Knitty at 100% against Knit Pro's 65%. Knitty also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knit Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per month and Knitty sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knit Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Knitty every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
