# Rmb Days vs Shine

The clearest difference is rating: Rmb Days at 5.0 against Shine's 4.0. Rmb Days also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Shine's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rmb Days sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Shine sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rmb Days holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Rmb Days's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rmb Days ships an update every 2 weeks, Shine every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
