# SnakeLog vs Fynyx

The clearest difference is ads: Fynyx at none against SnakeLog's shown. Fynyx also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). SnakeLog's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnakeLog sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Fynyx sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fynyx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnakeLog has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
