# PomodoroTimer vs Focus

The clearest difference is ads: Focus at none against PomodoroTimer's shown. PomodoroTimer's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PomodoroTimer ships an update fortnightly, Focus every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
