# State Cube vs Scent Master Pro

The clearest difference is rating: State Cube at 5.0 against Scent Master Pro's 3.7. State Cube also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Scent Master Pro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

State Cube holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scent Master Pro has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

State Cube ships an update every 2 months, Scent Master Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
