# HF Drone vs Drones for DJI

The clearest difference is rating: Drones for DJI at 4.5 against HF Drone's 3.7. Drones for DJI also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). HF Drone's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 11%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drones for DJI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. HF Drone asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drones for DJI holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drones for DJI has 2.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of HF Drone's written reviews are positive against 11% of Drones for DJI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HF Drone ships an update every 2 months, Drones for DJI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
