# FishNovel vs Onlynovel

The clearest difference is ads: FishNovel at none against Onlynovel's shown. FishNovel also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FishNovel sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Onlynovel sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FishNovel ships an update weekly, Onlynovel every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
