# Lingopanda vs ISSEN

The clearest difference is update cadence: ISSEN at every 4 days against Lingopanda's every 9 days. ISSEN also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Lingopanda's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 3.2K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingopanda sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and ISSEN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $29.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Lingopanda against 4.7 for ISSEN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lingopanda has 21K ratings behind it against 3.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Lingopanda's written reviews are positive against 77% of ISSEN's.

Lingopanda ships an update every 9 days, ISSEN every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
