# Sandypad vs iFloating Clock

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iFloating Clock at none against Sandypad's 1. iFloating Clock also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (267 vs 24). Sandypad's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 78%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sandypad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. iFloating Clock asks for nothing beyond the download.

iFloating Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFloating Clock has 267 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Sandypad's written reviews are positive against 78% of iFloating Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sandypad ships an update every 5 months, iFloating Clock every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
