# Home Security Camera vs Security Camera

Home Security Camera and Security Camera both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Security Camera's written reviews are positive against 33% of Home Security Camera's. Home Security Camera's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 159) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Home Security Camera sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Security Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Home Security Camera against 4.5 for Security Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home Security Camera has 3.3K ratings behind it against 159, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of Home Security Camera's written reviews are positive against 74% of Security Camera's.

Home Security Camera ships an update every 2 weeks, Security Camera every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
