# Noveltime vs Yep Novel

The clearest difference is rating: Noveltime at 4.5 against Yep Novel's 3.1. Noveltime also leads on ratings volume (217 vs 35) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Yep Novel's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noveltime sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Yep Novel sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noveltime holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noveltime has 217 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Noveltime's written reviews are positive against 64% of Yep Novel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noveltime ships an update every 5 weeks, Yep Novel every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
