# MyMagic vs GoldCare

The clearest difference is ads: MyMagic at none against GoldCare's shown. GoldCare's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyMagic ships an update every 2 months, GoldCare every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
