# Brainstorm Test vs Skyhook

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skyhook at every 3 days against Brainstorm Test's every 2 months. Skyhook also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Brainstorm Test's advantage is ratings volume (8.4K vs 1) and chart position (#49 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainstorm Test sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Skyhook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skyhook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainstorm Test has 8.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brainstorm Test ships an update every 2 months, Skyhook every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
