# Clear Wave vs Liquid Remover

The clearest difference is monetization model: Liquid Remover at freemium against Clear Wave's subscription. Liquid Remover also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Clear Wave's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 0%) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 116). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clear Wave sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Liquid Remover sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Clear Wave against 4.5 for Liquid Remover. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clear Wave has 2.4K ratings behind it against 116, so its average is the more settled of the two.
