# brainy vs Answer AI

The clearest difference is rating: brainy at 4.8 against Answer AI's 4.3. brainy also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (31 vs 4). Answer AI's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. brainy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Answer AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

brainy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: brainy has 31 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of brainy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Answer AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

brainy ships an update every 2 weeks, Answer AI every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
