# ORT On Demand vs LockStop

ORT On Demand and LockStop both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of LockStop's written reviews are positive against 27% of ORT On Demand's. ORT On Demand's advantage is ratings volume (293 vs 11). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ORT On Demand holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ORT On Demand has 293 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of ORT On Demand's written reviews are positive against 88% of LockStop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ORT On Demand ships an update every 2 months, LockStop every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and July 8, 2026 respectively.
