# VIPKid vs Tfaseel

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VIPKid at none against Tfaseel's 6. VIPKid also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Tfaseel's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tfaseel sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. VIPKid asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tfaseel holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tfaseel has 950 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of VIPKid's written reviews are positive against 67% of Tfaseel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VIPKid ships an update every 2 weeks, Tfaseel every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
