Suuz vs BohraConnect

SUUZ is a trusted, invite-only social network for expats, foreign interns, exchange students, and families traveling, living, or moving abroad on work, education, vacation, social service, or more.
Create your initial social circle abroad
Moving into a new country can be a very lonely journey at times. Meet other expats, new and old, learn more about them on the app, ask them questions, connect with those you like via one-to-one chats, participate in numerous interest groups with just a click and plan your own activities with the group via group chat, or simply RSVP for the frequent weekdays and weekend offline events and join them all. Never, Miss Home
It’s always pleasant to hear a familiar voice or meet someone who speaks your own language in a foreign land. SUUZ connects you with all the other members from your home country and even your home city anywhere you travel. It also connects you with your countrymen and women around the globe, so you can talk to them even before you travel. You will always feel at home, no matter where you go.
Participate MORE
You won’t run out of activities to participate in, again. SUUZ brings people from all over the world, with similar interests together, and provides a dedicated space for them to collaborate and plan activities with members in the same city. From Students or Business Owners Clubs to Women or LGBTQ Clubs, from Social Zones to Sports Zones, there are numerous dedicated sub-spaces group chats powered by Temasys. Join in with just a click and get right on to your next activity.
Connect MORE
While you have in-app chat 1-1 and group chat features to get you started right away, connect more, with other members on all their major social networks by clicking on the social links, if provided by them, on their profile. Carry your network wherever you go
Why should you lose your network just because you travel often? SUUZ will connect you with other members you might already know, who are in the same location as you are, no matter how often you travel. People First
While most of the social platforms are content first, SUUZ is people first. We believe our task is to connect you with the most relevant people and provide you tools to connect MORE with those who choose to. Trust MORE
SUUZ is an invite-only community for international citizens of the world, where each member is carefully chosen and given a limited list of invites. Their invites are only increased based on the relevance of the people they invite. Profanity will get profiles banned and send the profile of the person who invited them under review.
My List
Create your list of people that you connect often with by adding them to “My List” from their profile. “My List” is visible to you everywhere irrespective of where you travel. Never lose a connection with your close ones.

BohraConnect is a private social and professional app for our Dawoodi Bohra community. Every new account is reviewed by community admins before it goes live, so you know who you are talking to. INVITES FOR EVERY OCCASION Send a beautiful invitation for a shaadi, nikah, majlis or family dinner. Add each function, such as mehndi, nikah and walima, with its own date, time and seats. Count gents and ladies separately, so you know the numbers for every thaal. Families reply together, and guests without the app can reply from a link. IMPORT YOUR GUEST LIST Already have your list in a spreadsheet? Download the template, fill one row per guest, and import an Excel or CSV file. Every row is checked before anything is added, and nothing is sent until you say so. THE BOHRA HIJRI CALENDAR See the whole Hijri month at a glance, with the English date on every day. Every miqaat is marked, along with the events you are hosting or invited to, and you get a reminder the day before. HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Add a BohraConnect widget to your Home Screen to see today's Hijri date, today's miqaat and your next few days without opening the app. You can hide event names at any time. Lock Screen widgets show the Hijri date and miqaat only, never your events. TWO SIDES OF YOU One account, two profiles. Social mode for family and friends. Professional mode for your work, skills and business. Your feed, search and chats follow the mode you are in, so they never mix. JOBS Employers post roles at no cost. Members apply in one tap, and their Professional profile is the CV. SHOP Buy from businesses in our community. Sellers list products with sizes and stock, and you pay the seller directly by cash on delivery, bank transfer or mobile wallet. PRIVATE MESSAGES Encrypted messages and group chats for family and for work. Photos, voice notes and view-once media. Your key is held securely so your chats restore on a new phone. FEED, STORIES AND LIFE EVENTS Share photos, videos, stories and reels with people you know. Celebrate a nikah, a birthday or a new job with a Life Event post, and receive duas from our community. PAGES AND B-COINS Create a Page for your business or committee. Earn B-Coins for completing your profile and inviting family, and use them inside the app. B-Coins are in-app rewards and cannot be cashed out. YOUR PRIVACY Photos and videos are stored privately and shared only through short-lived links. You can block, report and delete your account at any time. Questions: support@bohraconnect.app
