# Steps vs Critter Walk

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Steps at none against Critter Walk's 1. Steps also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Critter Walk's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Critter Walk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Steps asks for nothing beyond the download.

Critter Walk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7.
