# Doorlist vs SameGen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SameGen at none against Doorlist's 1. Doorlist's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 21) and chart position (#14 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doorlist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SameGen asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Doorlist against 4.8 for SameGen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Doorlist has 3.1K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Doorlist's written reviews are positive against 93% of SameGen's.

Doorlist ships an update every 6 days, SameGen weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
