# DZ Reader vs R2V

The clearest difference is rating: R2V at 4.6 against DZ Reader's 3.9. R2V also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). DZ Reader's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 60%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DZ Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. R2V asks for nothing beyond the download.

R2V holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of DZ Reader's written reviews are positive against 60% of R2V's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
